For garments with intricate hand embroidery, it is strictly advised that you dry clean the garments using the services of a reputed drycleaner.

However for garments without any hand embroidery or garments with hand block print, hand wash can also work. Hand block print is a centuries old Indian art form that utilizes a hand carved teak wood block that is dipped in dye and stamped onto fabric firmly by handTo ensure that the delicacy and softness of your garment is maintained please follow the instructions that will help you prolong the life of your clothes:

·         Wash garments only when necessary

·         Wash garments by hand. Do not put them in a washing machine or dryer.

·         Using cold water helps conserve fragile fabric and color of the item.

Handwash lightly with mild detergent. Do not soak any other color garment as some fabrics are prone to bleed excess color

·         Avoid vigorous scrubbing. Rinse well and do not wring to remove water, gently squeeze instead.

  •            Air dry inside out in shade. Drying your clothes under the sun can cause color-fading

·         Moderate shrinkage may be expected in cotton fabrics

·         Do not iron directly on block-prints, embroidery, etc. Such clothes should be turned inside out and ironed lightly. Placing a towel/cloth between the garment and the iron will help prevent snags by the iron tip that can rip or tear. Use low heat.

·         The outfits are dry clean friendly. Do not bleach or use chlorine.
